Sanjay Patel was a student at Valley State College. He was tutoring Silas Botwin for extra cash, until he was approached by Nancy to deal marijuana for her on campus.

AppearanceEdit

His first apperance was in Nancy's Agrestic house kitchen tutoring Silas. After being Nancy's first recruit to sell pot for her, he started using it and developed a puppy-crush on her. He eventually worked for Nancy's 'front' bakery business.

He was also part of Nancy's Grow House business, and eventually Celia's.

CharacterEdit

Sanjay is an Indian-American who self describes as a "classic underachiever". Despite this, Sanjay excels as a drug dealer. Eventually, he was revealed to be a homosexual and provided more clients for Nancy's business. U-Turn made his cousin, Clinique, rape Sanjay to make him straight. He remained gay but insisted to marry her when he found out she was carrying his child.

He knows sign language.

In the season 8 finale, it is revealed that Sanjay and Clinique have been married for 10 years.
