Devon Rensler was a school bully at Agrestic Elementary. He made fun of Shane Botwin regularly, giving him a series of nicknames, including: Fruit, Fruit Punch, Strange Botwin, Vampire, Lipstick and Orphan Boy. He also knocked him over during a soccer match. Shane retaliated, first by throwing a can of soda at him, then attacking him with a paint gun, for which he got suspended, and finally by writing a gangsta rap about killing him. He is also described as a "fuckwad" by Nancy and Silas.
